Oregon Pipeline –
Oregon Pipeline, a company affiliated with Oregon LNG, has information and resources on the proposed pipeline from Oregon LNG’s terminal in Warrenton to Molalla, Oregon. Learn more at www.OregonPipelineCompany.com.
Oregon Agencies –
Energy Facilities Siting Council (EFSC) – The lead Oregon state agency responsible for the issuance of a Site Certificate, a requirement normally needed to build an energy facility.
Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) – The Oregon state agency responsible for implementation of federal air, water and solid waste regulations.
Department of State Lands (DSL) – The Oregon state agency responsible for protecting and managing state lands and waterways.
Department of Land Conservation and Development (DLCD) – The Oregon state agency responsible for the statewide land use planning program and Oregon’s federally approved coastal management program.
Federal Agencies
Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) is the federal agency responsible for the siting of LNG import facilities. Their website provides access to the federal permitting process of all onshore U.S. LNG facilities being developed.
U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) – The Coast Guard is responsible for approving LNG vessel movement plans.
U.S. Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) – The USACE is responsible for approval of the installation of berths and moorings in navigable U.S. waters as well as the approval of dredging plans necessary to maintain channel and berth depths.
U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service – A division of the Department of Interior, which is responsible for the protection of threatened and endangered species.
National Marine Fisheries Service – This branch of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (Department of Commerce) is responsible for sustaining commercial fisheries.
U.S. Energy Information Administration – This branch of the Department of Energy is responsible for providing energy forecasts, trade and relevant price data regarding LNG markets and other pertinent issues for the US and international markets.
